I’m a New York-based writer, editor, researcher, teacher, and all-around nerd. I love tricky problems and complicated ideas.
I have taught writing, literature, and history of healthcare at graduate and undergraduate levels for over a decade. (Before that, I worked for Steppenwolf Theatre and taught younger students literacy and fine arts.) At the same time, I’ve maintained a writing and editing career, specializing in education, science, and health. I like facts, and I like to be very certain they are correct. I especially like working on projects that make the world better.
When I’m not fact-checking TED Talks or writing literature study guides, I enjoy watercolor painting.
